Selling Tickets on Esora

You can sell tickets directly on Esora. People buy right on your event page — in the app or on the web — and you handle everything from your phone: set prices, follow sales live, scan tickets at the door, and get paid to your bank account.

This page is the overview. The deeper pages cover each piece in detail.

  • Paid tickets and free registrations — charge for entry in AMD, or let people register for free (RSVP). You can mix both on the same event.
  • Checkout in the app and on the web — buyers pay by bank card on a secure bank payment page. On the web, they don’t even need an Esora account to buy.
  • Promo codes — percentage or fixed-amount discounts, with optional limits and expiry. See Promo Codes.
  • Reserved seating — for theaters and seated venues, buyers pick their exact seat on an interactive map. See Reserved Seating.
  • QR check-in at the door — scan tickets with your phone’s camera on event day. See Check-In: Scanning Tickets at the Door.
  • Payouts to your bank — we transfer your ticket revenue to your account. See Payouts, Fees & Getting Paid.

Listing your events on Esora is always free. When you enable ticketing, we agree on a small commission on ticket sales — a per-organizer percentage set in your ticketing agreement. There’s no subscription and no setup fee. You keep your ticket revenue minus that commission, and we pay it out to your bank account.

The full breakdown of commission and payouts is on the Payouts, Fees & Getting Paid page.

Ticketing is turned on per organizer by the Esora team — it isn’t self-serve, because it involves money and your bank details. It’s quick:

  1. Tell us you’re interestedget in touch.
  2. Agree the terms — we settle on the commission rate and payout details in a simple agreement.
  3. Share your payout bank account — where we send your ticket revenue.
  4. We wire everything up — once you’re enabled, ticketing appears in your events.
  5. Add tickets whenever you want — to any event, any time. No need to ask us again.

You’ll need manager access to your page to set up tickets and manage sales. If you don’t have it yet, see How to Get Manager Access.

Here’s the whole flow, with links to the details:

  1. Set up your tickets. On your event, add one or more ticket tiers — name, price, quantity per date, and so on. See Ticket Types & Pricing.
  2. Publish and sell. People buy or register on your event page. Follow sales live and manage guests in Orders, Guests & Refunds.
  3. Check people in at the door. Scan QR tickets with your phone on the day. See Check-In: Scanning Tickets at the Door.
  4. Get paid. After the event, your revenue becomes eligible for payout to your bank. See Payouts, Fees & Getting Paid.
