Create Events Manually

While most events on Esora are imported automatically from your social media, you can also create events manually. This is useful for events you haven’t posted about yet, or events that the AI didn’t pick up.

  1. Go to your event list in the Manage dashboard
  2. Click the ”+” button in the top right corner
  3. A new event called “Untitled Event” is created as a draft
  4. You’re taken directly to the event editor

A new event starts empty — fill in as much as you can:

  • Title — give your event a clear, descriptive name
  • Date and time — at least one occurrence with a start date. A blank occurrence is created for you automatically.
  • Category — helps users find your event when browsing
  • Description — tell users what to expect
  • Venue — where the event takes place
  • Media — upload at least one image or video. Vertical images work best.
  • Price — helps users decide whether to attend
  • Translations — fill in Armenian and Russian versions of the title and description, or let the Esora team know so the AI can generate translations
  • End date/time — for multi-day events or when the end time matters
  • Ticket links — URLs where users can buy tickets
  • External URL — a link to more information

New events start as drafts — they’re only visible to you. When you’re ready:

  1. Make sure all your changes are saved (click “Save Changes”)
  2. In the sidebar, switch the visibility from “Draft” to “Live”

Your event will then appear on Esora for users to discover.

You can use drafts to prepare events ahead of time:

  1. Create the event and fill in what you know
  2. Save it as a draft
  3. Come back later to add more details or media
  4. Publish when everything is ready

Drafts appear in the Drafts section of your event list, sorted by creation date.
