Payouts, Fees & Getting Paid

This is the money page. It explains exactly how much Esora keeps, when your ticket revenue reaches your bank account, and how refunds affect the total. If anything here is unclear for your specific event, get in touch — we’re happy to walk through the numbers.

Commission — what Esora keeps

Esora takes a commission on ticket sales: a per-organizer percentage set in your ticketing agreement. It’s the same rate for you across your events, agreed once up front.

The rate is locked in on each order the moment it’s sold. So if your agreement ever changes later, orders already sold keep the rate they were sold at — no surprises after the fact.

Listing your events is always free; commission only applies to tickets you actually sell.

Payouts — how you get paid

We pay you by bank transfer to the account you gave us in your agreement. You don’t request withdrawals — payouts are issued to you.

When a sale becomes payable: an order is eligible for payout once the event date has passed plus a short settlement period — about 5 days after the event. That window covers refunds and lets things settle before the money moves.

The Payouts screen

You can see all of this on the Payouts screen in the Esora Organizer app. It’s read-only (there’s no withdraw button — payouts happen automatically). It shows:

• Eligible — money ready to be paid out
• Upcoming — sales not yet past the settlement window
• Paid out — what’s already been transferred

For each payout, you’ll see the breakdown:

Gross − Commission − Refund deductions = Net

• Gross — the total buyers paid
• Commission — Esora’s agreed cut
• Refund deductions — adjustments for any refunds (see below)
• Net — what lands in your bank account

How refunds affect your payout

When you refund an order, the buyer gets the full amount back — everything they paid. Per your agreement, the commission on that order is retained by Esora, so the refund is deducted from your balance. In practice: you don’t lose money you never received, but the commission that was locked in at sale time stays with Esora even after the refund.
