Editing Events
When you open an event from your event list, you’ll see the full event editor. This page lets you review what the AI extracted and make any corrections.
The event editor layout
Section titled “The event editor layout”The editor has two columns:
- Main column — content, translations, media, and dates/tickets
- Sidebar — visibility controls, category, venue, and external link
Content and translations
Section titled “Content and translations”The first section shows your event’s title and description with tabs for each language:
- English
- Armenian
- Russian
A green dot on a tab means that language has content. You can edit the text in any language directly.
When events are imported from social media, all three languages are automatically filled using AI translation. Review each tab to make sure the translations are accurate — you know your event better than the AI does.
Category
Section titled “Category”In the sidebar, you can set your event’s category from a dropdown. Available categories:
- Live Music
- Theater
- Clubbing
- Stand-up
- Film
- Opera & Ballet
- Family
- Social
- Food
- Arts
- Social Dance
- Wellness
- Hiking & Nature
- Tech & Business
- Tours
- Sports
The category helps users find your event when browsing or filtering. The AI usually assigns a category automatically, but you can change it if it’s wrong.
Select the venue where your event takes place using the searchable dropdown. Start typing the venue name and select from the results. If your venue isn’t listed, contact the Esora team to add it.
The venue links your event to a location on the map and groups it with other events at the same place.
External URL
Section titled “External URL”If your event has a dedicated page elsewhere (your website, a ticketing platform, etc.), paste the URL in the External URL field. This gives users a direct link to more information.
Saving changes
Section titled “Saving changes”After making edits, click the “Save Changes” button in the top right. The button is disabled when there are no unsaved changes, so you can always tell whether you have pending edits.
Viewing your published event
Section titled “Viewing your published event”Click the external link icon next to the event title to view how your event appears to users on Esora. This opens the public event page in a new tab.
Deleting an event
Section titled “Deleting an event”Scroll to the bottom of the sidebar and click “Delete Event”. A confirmation dialog will appear. Deleted events are soft-deleted and can be recovered by the Esora team if needed.
