Cinema & Movie Showtimes

Movies have their own home on Esora. The Cinema section is where you browse what’s playing, dig into a film, and find its showtimes — separate from the main event feed.

You’ll find it as the Cinema tab in the mobile app, and in the films section on the web.

Now Showing and special screenings

The Cinema section leads with Now Showing — the films currently playing at cinemas around town — alongside special screenings like festivals and one-off events.

Film pages

Tap any film to open its page, where you can watch the trailer, read the credits, and browse stills from the movie — everything you need to decide whether it’s worth a night out.

Finding a showtime

Each film lists its showtimes, and you can filter them to fit your plans:

Date — the day you want to go
Time of day — morning, afternoon, evening
Language — the version you want to watch
Features — IMAX, 3D, and other formats
Cinema and hall — a specific venue, or even a specific screen

Cinema notifications

The Cinema section has its own notification bells, separate from organizer bells:

New films at cinemas — a push when new movies start showing
New screenings at venues — a push when your chosen cinemas add showtimes

Like all Esora notifications, these are push notifications from the mobile app.

Buying movie tickets

When you pick a showtime, Esora sends you to the cinema’s own ticketing site to buy and choose your seat. Movie tickets aren’t sold on Esora — we link you straight to the right showtime at the cinema, and you check out there.
