Ticket Types & Pricing

A ticket type (or tier) is one kind of entry to your event — “General Admission”, “VIP”, “Early Bird”, “Free RSVP”, and so on. You can create as many as you like per event, each with its own price and rules. This page walks through every setting.

You set up tiers on your event in the Esora Organizer app. Ticketing has to be enabled first — see Selling Tickets on Esora.

When you create an event, you choose how people get in:

  • Open — no tickets at all. People just show up. (This is a plain listing with no checkout.)
  • Free registration (RSVP) — people register for free so you know who’s coming and can check them in.
  • Paid — people buy tickets.

You can combine free and paid tiers on a paid event — for example a free RSVP alongside a paid VIP. RSVP events use “Registration” and “Guests” wording in the app instead of “tickets” and “buyers”.

An important rule: the quantity you set on a tier applies per date, not across the whole event. If your event runs on three dates and a tier has 100 tickets, that’s 100 for each date — 300 in total. This keeps every night’s capacity independent.

  • Name — what buyers see, like “General Admission” or “VIP”.
  • Description — an optional line explaining what the tier includes.
  • Price — in AMD. Set it to 0 to make the tier free (a free registration).
  • Quantity per date — how many of this tier are available on each date.
  • Per-order limit — the most one buyer can grab in a single order (for example, max 6).
  • Group price (optional) — a lower price per ticket for buyers who take several tickets of this type in one order, like “From 2 tickets, each costs 4 500 AMD”. See Group Prices.
  • Refundable — the refund rule buyers see before they pay. Turn it off and paid tickets say “Non-refundable”. Leave it on and add a refund cutoff to show “Refundable up to 3 days before the event”. Buyers can’t refund themselves either way, and Esora never refunds on its own: you send every refund yourself from the order, whatever this setting says, so you can still refund a guest who was turned away at the door. See Orders, Guests & Refunds.
  • Sale window — an optional start and end time for when this tier is on sale. Use it for early-bird pricing or to stop online sales before doors open.
  • Visibility: public, unlisted or hidden — Public tiers show on your event page for anyone. Unlisted tiers don’t appear on the page; they’re reachable only by people you send the private ticket link to. Good for press, guests, members, or a secret tier. Hidden tiers are not shown anywhere and cannot be bought; only you see them. Every public or unlisted tier has its own link under the visibility setting, and your own website can use it to open checkout with that ticket already selected. See Selling Esora tickets from your own website.
  • Status: active or paused — pause a tier to take it off sale temporarily without deleting it. Only active tiers can be bought.
  • Availability display — how remaining stock is shown to buyers. You can show the exact number left, a softer “few left” once it drops below a threshold, or hide the count entirely.
  • Collect phone number at checkout — turn this on if you want a buyer’s phone number for this tier.

The difference comes down to price. A tier priced at 0 AMD is a free registration — the guest goes through a quick sign-up instead of a payment page. A tier priced above 0 is a purchase — the buyer pays by bank card on a secure bank page. Both produce a QR ticket you scan at the door the same way.
